IMPACT UPDATE

WOW! Thats the best way I can describe our experience here in Mexico over the course of the last week. It has been an incredible trip in so many ways. It has also been very challenging at times as well but the Lord has been so good. Thank you for continuing to pray for the team.
Yesterday morning, Thursday, we experienced some significant spiritual warfare... the kind of which most of us have never experienced. We had been planning to go out on a prayer walk to pray for a number of individuals the Lord had been prompting us to intercede for. However, we sensed that instead of going out, we needed to take time to pray over the team and ask the Lord to supernaturally work in those students who had been sick and those who were experiencing direct spiritual attacks against them.
I'll let the students share their experiences with you in detail once they return home. However, I can tell you that we experienced God in ways that many on the team had never witnessed. We experienced the the power of the Holy Spirit in supernatural ways and we saw major spiritual victories take place in our own team as we prayed for one another and as we interceded on behalf of the people of El Millon. We were left in awe of the power and goodness of God. Definitely our faith was greatly increased today!
Please continue to pray for the Lord to protect us and cover us with the blood of Jesus. We are ministering in very dark places that have a lot of satanic influence. Pray that as we go out this afternoon to pray for the sick and spiritual oppressed people of El Millon that the Lord with provide incredible victories as has already been doing. There is so much evil here that it is hard to explain. Yet we know that the Lord has used us to begin to reclaim what has been stolen and taken captive by the Enemy.
Yesterday we also concluded 4 days of VBS in El Millon and Jesus Carranza. We had 125 kids attend the final day. A lot of seeds were planted and watered during these days of VBS! For some, it was the first time they had ever heard the message of the Gospel.
While we didnt see any visible results following the outreach we did at the baseball-soccer stadium on Wednesday night, almost 200 people watched the drama and heard the testimonies that were shared. Last night, we had our final opportunity to build relationships and share Christ with these men who we have had many chances now to show the love of Christ to. It was very apparent that we had earned that respect and that their hearts have been softened. At the end of our baseball game we were able to gather the men together and let them know why we had come all the way from Indiana. We had come to share the love of God with them. We invited them to our fairwell church service tonight in El Millon. We are praying that many of them will come. We handed out tracks to them that gives them a clear picture of the Gospel. Pray specifically for a man named Earnesto who seems to be the ring leader of a lot of the men in El Millon. Dan Dingeldein developed a signficicant relationship with Earnesto and has had a number of long conversations with him. Pray for Earnesto{s salvation.
Also last evening, Jordan Kirkdorffer preached at the Thursday night church service in Jesus Carranza. He did a great job! Three of the people in the church testified to experiencing physical healing after we prayed for them during an outreach we did in El Millon on Tuesday night. Praise the Lord!
Tonights church service in El Millon will be our final opportunity for ministry t the people of El Millon on this IMPACT Trip. Pray for Dustin Eby, who will be sharing the message. Pray that many will come to this service who are lost and in need of a relationship with Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit would move in significant ways as we wrap up our ministry today and tonight. Pray for physical healing for students that have been feeling ill. Pray that students would regain there strength today. We are all physical, emotional and even spiritually tired. Please pray for a supernatural energy and power today as we minister and for our debriefing process which begins tomorrow afternoon in El Paso.
Thanks again for praying for the team. It has been an experience that has far surpassed any of our expectations. Not only has God worked through us in supernatural ways he has also worked in us in supernatural ways as well!

Great to here this report of your last few days, Jason! It is my experience that God shows up in the greatest ways when we are at our weakest....guess there's not way to take the credit for ourselves. We can't wait to hear the stories from the leaders and the students. God IS FAITHFUL!
