"What's a good Bible for teenagers?"

I came across what looks like is going to be a great new resource to get junior high and high schoolers in the Bible, thanks to Kurt Johnston and his blog. On his blog, I came across this post that talks about a new Bible called "LIVE" put out by Group Publishing.

Upon initial review, I think it will become my new #1 recommendation to students and parents who ask me the question, "What's a good Bible for teenagers to get?". You can buy it here!

Great Ministry Tool to Help Students Make Wise Media Choices

I came across this great ministry tool this morning that is put out by CPYU called "3D Reviews." CPYU has developed this handy tool to help youth workers and parents work alongside their kids to help them process the music, movies, TV shows and commercials they listen to and watch in order to help them make wise media choices. Click here to go the the site and see their current reviews.

I've also added CPYU's founder, Walt Mueller, to my list of "impact blogs" that I read. Walt is on the cutting edge of today's youth culture and is, in my opinion, the #1 resource out there for helping parents and youth workers stay current with the media that is impacting and influencing the lives of students and culture.
