Best Tweets of the Week

The title pretty much explains it. Every week or so, I'll share some of my favorite tweets from the past week or so. Here are a few from this past week...

BEST TWEETS OF THE WEEK

@scottengbrecht Have a great Memorial Day. Or as pacifists call it, Monday.

@UnearthedPics While you watch the World Cup on ESPN this summer, pray for the est. 100,000+ women who will be forced into prostitution all over S. Africa.

@jlee268 I just saw a fox on my late night walk with Carter and the lady next door rescued some ducks. Obviously I live at the zoo.

@mynameiscorey Our son just announced he's taking his electric jeep to the store & he'll be back later...

@janelleprenkert Washing the van with a 2 yr old is a riot. Her fav phrase "dont worry mama its just water" said as she sprays me with the hose!

@DougFields TheNavy trains sea lions to locate terroist mines--amazing! I cant even train my kids to turn off bathroom lights!

@perrynoble Most of us do not have a problem figuring out God's Word...but rather figuring out whether or not we are going to obey it!

@petehise "I changed my behavior, so I thought I was a Christian." It is the lie of American Christianity. Nothing will bring you peace but Jesus.

@RickWarren I’d rather fail in the world’s eyes being who God made me to be than to succeed by living someone else’s life.

Ben Arment's blog – “God uses frustration to shape a dream.”

Steven Furtick's blog - It was Martin Luther who insightfully suggested that “religion” is the default mode of the human heart. I’ve unfortunately found this to be quite true. Unless I tell my heart to deliberately do something different, I often drift toward using religion to reach God.
