My Unplanned "Blogcation"

I never planned to go almost a month without posting. It just kind of happened. Here are some of the things I've been up to lately...

*Did a overnight retreat with our Upward Basketball Leadership Team in preparation for the 2008-2009 season. Great group of people and a great time as always!

*Still trying to finish the book I was suppose to have been done reading at the end of August, "Be Last: Descending to Greatness" by Jeremy Kingsley.

*Thoroughly enjoying the start of another football season. No surprise to anyone who knows me, that I'm especially excited about Notre Dame's 2-0 start to the football season!

*Current planning a late October family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN.

*Growing in amazement with what it's like to be a dad as I watch Haley grow up before my eyes.

*Finalized an opportunity to assist in leading a youth ministry training event in Haiti from December 10-17.

*Had my world rocked by Louie Giglio's "Indescribable" message.

*Finished as the regular season and tournament runner-up of our annual Fantasy Baseball League, "The Brothers' In-Law".

*Feeling refreshed as we begin the Fall ministry season at NMC as I am really coming to enjoy my role as "Preteen Pastor" this school year.
