Simplify

To stay simple ... that's one of my goals in the coming months. Often I find myself making things more complicated then they need to be. I often notice this in the goals I set for myself. Often they are unrealistic because I try, as the saying goes, to "eat the whole enchilada" all at once rather than taking many smaller bites.

Here are a few areas that I've struggled to develop habits in but that are important enough to me that I've now decided to begin taking smaller bites of and simplify my goals for ...
  • Pray ONE time with my wife each day (not including meals and covering a different topic each day)

  • Memorize ONE verse/passage of Scripture a week

  • Read ONE book a month

More ways I'm attempting to simplify to come ...
