Ways You Can Pray for My Surgery ...

(1) Pray that the Lord's will would be done and that he alone be glorified.

(2) Pray that the surgery would be a complete success, going even better than the best case scenario described by Dr. Downs.

(3) Pray that the Dr. Downs' hands would be guided by the Lord as he performs the surgery on my face. (There are some delicate spots where he will be making incisions, such as through my mouth and beneath my right eye.)

(4) Pray against infection in the areas where the incisions are made.

(5) Pray that I would heal quicker than expected and would be able to not only take part in but provide excellent leadership for our DCGO team that leaves for Washington D.C. on June 14

(6) Lastly, from a somewhat selfish standpoint, pray that there would be little to no lasting scars on my face because of the incision that are made.
