Thursday at Camp

We enjoyed another really good day yesterday. We revised our morning plans because of the rain and moved all of our team building activities indoors. We also took some extra time in the morning to talk about obstacles to being ONE body. This would set up nicely where we went during the evening Celebration.

In the afternoon, the rain stopped and we were able to go to Monsoon Lagoon (water park / go carts) which was a great time together. Because it was a bit cooler and overcast with the threat of rain basically we had the entire park to ourselves which was great.

Last night's Celebration was once again very encouraging as over half the students responded to the invitation to "nail the passions and desires of their sinful nature to the cross and crucify them there." Last night was about ONE Spirit and the fact that as a group "we are at our best when you are at your best." We went out of Galatians 5 and took a look at 4 enemies of of our heart (Guilt, Anger, Greed, Jealousy) that threaten to tie us up in bondage to sin and keep us from living free.

I'll have more on last night's session later but definitely this has been a great camp. I'm very excited for the school year to come!
