Doctor Visit

It's always a good sign when a visit to the doctor is short. Such was the case yesterday when I visited Dr. Downs for my post-surgery appointment. He said everything looks really good, is healing well and as long as I don't participate in any contact sports (isn't youth ministry a contact sport?) over the next few weeks, I should be fine.

Thanks again to all of you who have been praying for my recovery! At this point, those prayers seem to have certainly been answered!

You forget how much you value being prayed for until you go through a rough spot like this. It's been a good reminder to me, that prayer does make a difference in very tangible ways and that God cares about our every need.
