There's no better book I've read than "Engaging the Soul of Youth Culture" when it comes to helping me understand the youth culture of today. I would recommend that every parent read this book. It won't all be encouraging but it will be insightful and it definitely will better equip you to engage the culture in which your student is growing up within.
I know that Pastor Dave has said that this has been one of his best reads in helping him to understand today's youth culture. This book is available for purchase at the Ministry Center at NMC.
