1. Pray for Pastor Francisco Ramirez and his family (wife-Rosa; daughter-Rosita; son-Xavier) as they continue the difficult work in El Millon & Jesus Carranza. We could sense the desperation and urgency with which they spoke of the need for us to now forget them and to make sure we are praying for them even after we return home. The Lord used our team in a great way to begin to take back and recapture stolen ground that the Enemy had stolen. However, what we did was just the beginning of an effort that will need to continue for years to come. And while are team experienced the intensiveness of the spiritual warfare that is going on with these communities we were only there for 10 days. The Ramirez family and the church members in El Millon and Jesus Carranza live and minister in this "war zone" on a daily basis. As they put it, Satan is not happy with what has taken place in the 10 days we were with them. He will certainly intensify his efforts to undo what was done during our time in Mexico. Here are some ways that we need to continue to pray for this area ...
*Pray that the blood of Jesus would protect and cover the Ramirez family (Francisco, Rosa, Rosita and Xavier) as they lead the charge to reach people in El Millon & Jesus Carranza. Pray for their spiritual protection from the attacks and strategies of Satan.
*Pray for encouragement, perseverance and spiritual protection for the believers in El Millon, Jesus Carranza and the Riveras.
*Pray for Estella, the once demon possessed girl that was miraculously delivered and came to faith in Christ. Pray that the blood of Christ would protect her and that her entire family would come to faith in Christ. There is still a strong spiritual battle that is going on in the home and surrounding area in which Estella lives. Estella's father is an alcoholic and believers that God doesn't want to have anything to do with him because of the way he lives.
*Pray that the seeds that were planted and watered through our team's ministry efforts in El Millon, Jesus Carranza and the Riveras would bring about a spiritual harvest of souls.
*Pray for prayers warriors to emerge that will intercede on behalf of the believers that minister in these communities where the spiritual warfare is so intense.
*Pray that their will be a spiritual awakening among the men of these communities. Pray especially for Earnesto, a leading influence among men in El Millon. Pray for his salvation. He could be a key person in seeing a significant movement begin among the men of El Millon. The Lord gave us great opportunities to plant and water seeds in his life while we were in Mexico.
*Pray for the protection of children and women in El Millon & Jesus Carranza where abuse (including rape) is so rampant
2. Pray for the IMPACT Team (students and leaders) now that we are back home. While the spiritual warfare looks different, often it is just as intense if not more intense once teams return home. Here's how you can be in pray for the team now that the trip is over ...
*Pray that students will be protected from the subtle spiritual attacks of the enemy that we often face here in America (i.e. apathy, materialism, self-centeredness, procrastination, fear).
*Pray that as a team we will remain burdened for the people and communities we ministered in so that we would be key prayer warriors and intercessors for them in the coming weeks and months.
*Pray that students will be quick to begin putting into practice the things that the Lord taught them during this intense experience. Pray that students would continue to hear from the Lord as to what he was wanting to teach them and say to them on this trip.
*Pray that for those just graduated seniors that they would be able to clearly see how this IMPACT experience is to make a difference in how they approach college or work in the fall.
*Pray for those students on the IMPACT team that will be Juniors & Seniors in high school this fall, that they will continue to stay desperate to see God do something great in our Senior High ministry this next school year. Pray that the burden to pray on all occassions and without seizing that they Lord laid on their hearts in Mexico will remain and intensify, including that the Lord would begin a revival in our youth group and in their schools this coming year.
